With gratitude and great appreciation for his years of service in San Juan County, we announce that Leo Michael will retire from his role as owner and principal of Safe Harbor Insurance at the new year, January 1, 2025. We recognize his many years of hard work, commitment, and friendship as a long term SJI local. His expertise and personal touch will be greatly missed by his clients, colleagues, and neighbors.
Leo has a hard time thinking about retirement, as he genuinely loves this community, his co-workers, and the local friendly faces who swing by just to say hello!
He plans to spend his retirement enjoying quality time with his wife Chris, three children, six grandchildren, and two French bulldogs. He is also planning for much more relaxation and time spent outdoors.
Co-owners, Tanasha Webb and Juan Unpingco, will be taking over the management of Safe Harbor Insurance with the full support of our partners at Leavitt Group Northwest.
Rest assured that Safe Harbor is committed to providing the same level of excellent and personal service that you’ve grown accustomed to. Our goal is to continue the legacy that Leo has left us, growing our client relationships and maintaining high standards of customer care.
We would like to express the utmost thanks to our clients for their continued trust and loyalty to the Safe Harbor agency. Though Leo will be greatly missed, we look forward to serving the community and building upon the foundation of mutual respect and honesty that Leo has established here.
